Hi, I’m Michaela Malkiewicz—wife, boy mama, and the photographer behind Rooted in Light Photography. I’m an Atlanta native who recently planted new roots in the beautiful Nashville, TN area, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Rooted in Light was born from my love for capturing meaningful moments— and from a deep belief that light, love, and purpose are at the heart of every story. My faith plays a big role in how I see the world and the work I do, and it’s what inspires me to serve others with intentionality, joy, and gratitude.
